During these two segments, Debbie (www.onthehomestretch.com) and I discuss how some of the major changes in our lives as we and our families grow up can send us to go to the food for comfort and strength and what we can do to combat that. In the second segment in particular, if you've ever wondered what a relaxing session of hypnotherapy is like, or if you've been worried about reaching out to us for help because of your fear of hypnosis, you need to listen to the last five minutes of segment two because we do a very abbreviated, general hypnotherapy session*. Get yourself to a dim, quiet place, hit play and relax. You may even want to listen to this one right before going to bed, so you can have the best night sleep ever. Also note, that when you're in a relaxed, comfortable state mentally and physically, you are better able to handle stress and less likely to eat over it. Bonus!

done on Valentine's Day! What a wonderful holiday IF you're not on
a diet, right? This used to be a difficult holiday for me since it
seemed I was always on one diet or another many years ago. The
thought of getting candy scared me, but not now. I look forward to
the holidays and enjoy them for how they're meant to be enjoyed
instead of letting the food of the occasion determine what kind of
holiday it's going to be (i.e. good or bad, happy or sad, or
downright devastating)
